Why Stairs Require Extra Attention
Stairs take more wear than any other surface in the house. They also have more complex geometry, each step may have slight variations in width or depth. A clean stair job means every tread fits tightly, the nosing is properly covered, and nothing moves or squeaks underfoot.
- Squeak Repair Before Installation
Most stairs develop squeaks over time as the treads and stringers loosen. We identify and fix squeak sources before new material goes in. There's no point in installing new treads on a loose structure.
